Working with my father, a qualified motor mechanic, has resulted in my
interest in restoring vintage and classic cars as a hobby. We are members of a
vintage vehicle club and when the cars pass MOT we enjoy taking them to vintage
rallies.
My last project was to restore a white 1976 Daimler as I had never seen one
at any of the rallies. When it was completed my sister asked me to drive at her
wedding, as did a neighbour.
My interest in these larger, more luxury, vehicles has grown leading to the
purchase of three other Daimlers - a grey 1974, a grey 1976 and a black 1977.
As a computer science student I decided to create this web site to advertise
the cars as I enjoy a days out driving them. My father and another
friend are also interested in driving these classic Daimlers.
This is not a money making business, but merely a way to cover some of the
expenses involved in keeping the cars in good order.
